Congrats are in order for Rachel Zoe! Not only is she expecting her first baby later this month but The Hollywood Reporter just named her #1 stylist to the stars! And after seeing all of the stunning looks she put together for Anne Hathaway during the Academy Awards show, it is no wonder she is the very best of the best. Now that awards show season is over and we have seen hundreds of red carpet looks and styles, we should take the time to appreciate the woman who is the fashion sense behind many of these A-list celebrities.
Celebrity stylists do not get the credit they deserve. In magazines, it notes the fashion editors and stylists for each shoot, but celebs do not strut down the red carpet saying, “I didn’t pick this out–my stylist did!” Styling is a real art- knowing how textures and fabrics will look on camera, what colors look best with certain skin tones, creating an overall style that is truly unique to that person–everything we don’t consider when we see a “well-dressed” celebrity is all thought out by the stylist behind the scenes.
I take a lot of style cues from Zoe. Her style is bohemian but of the highest quality and label. And my favorite thing about her personal style is the insane amount of oversized, one-of-a-kind jewelry she wears!
