Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2

Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
I hope you have read my eyeshadow swap Look #1  and now comes the Look #2. This is a gorgeous combination and one of my most amazing ones. Purple and coppers look to be fail safe, don't they?
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
In this look I have used the purple from the Guerlain Velours D'Or quad on the lids and then used the fabulous coppery brown from the Tom Ford Cognac Sable in the crease. It does create a different dimension.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
One of the rules of these eyeshadow swaps looks is that the color that goes in the crease is the one that goes on the lower lids. This does add a bit of mysteriousness to the look. So lets see how to do this look............
Always begin with a great base. I have used the Christian Dior Flawless Perfection Fusionwear foundation SPF 20 to create the flawless base needed to execute this look.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
Start by concealing the under eye area with Clinique All About Eyes concealer and seal it all with YSL Matte And Radiance Pressed Powder. This is a fabulous light weight powder that makes the complexion look surreal and non-cakey.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
Prime the lids with Urban Decay Primer Potion to prep the lids for the eyeshadows to glide on.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
Trace the upper lash line haphazardly and thickly with Bourjois Khol and Contour Ultra Black eye pencil.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
Blend the eye pencil with a lovely pencil brush and create a small crease on the outer corners.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
With the dark brown from the Tom Ford Cognac Sable, start tracing the crease from the outer ends. I did not per se look at creating a big eye or something. So its all basic blending and all.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
With the mid tone coppery brown from the Tom Ford Cognac Sable (which was a lid color in the Look1) goes in the crease. Define the crease with it and then blend towards the brow bone.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
With MAC 217 brush, layer the plummy purple from the Velours D'Or palette till you get the desired finish. I love the velvety feel of this eyeshadow. Its matte but very pigmented and not flat as most of the eyeshadows go.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
On the lower lids apply the coppery brown shade from the Cognac Sable quad.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
Highlight the inner corners and the brow bone with the shimmery warm gold from the Velours D'Or palette. I simply love the subtle iridescence of that eyeshadow shade. With the same eye pencil, line the inner rims of the lower lids to create a smokey darkness that is enough to enhance the eye shape and not create a stark line.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
Line the upper lash line with the beautiful eye pencil from Stila called Ladyfish. Its a deep aubergine with fuchsia glitter.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
Curl the lashes with MAC eye lash curler and add several coats of YSL Faux Cils mascara to create bedazzling peepers.
Eyeshadow Swaps Look #2
Since the dominating color of this look is 'copper' lets go on with the coppery theme to create a fabulous complexion. So I opted for Guerlain's Shell  Bronzer to every so slightly illuminate the complexion and then highlight with Guerlain's Parure De Nuit highlighter. For the blush I love Clinique's Blushing Blush in Afterglow. Even Clinique's True Bronzer is a great option.
For the lips, nothing entices better than a Clinique high impact lipstick in After party or Heavenly Violet.
Hope you liked this look. I would love to get your suggestions on the next tutorial of eyeshadow swaps so do let me know.
Till then,
Ciao
