Eye of Horus Ultimate Brow Define – Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Hi everyone,

One of the latest releases from the Eye of Horus brand is their Ultimate Brow Define. Coming in 3 shades, this brow product features dual ends – a wax based color and a spoolie to comb through your brows.

Eye of Horus Ultimate Brow Define – Review

The pencil has a twist up feature for easy use (no sharpening required) and the formula contains Candelilla and Coconut Oil, as well as Castor Oil to help promote brow hair growth. The design of the slim pencil allows for easy application and the spoolie is a great tool to have on hand when filling in your brows so I love the dual ended design. The coloured ‘lead’ itself is quite slim which allows you to target exact areas of the brow as well as ensuring any strokes you make still maintain a natural appearance that isn’t too harsh or too thick.

The lead is the perfect mix of color and wax which allows you to get the definition you want without causing your brows to look unnaturally dark or stuck down (which some gels and other pencils can do) and without being too soft or very hard, the need to apply some slight pressure when applying the product is such an advantage as it really allows you achieve a natural, yet defined look. The formula is extremely long lasting, and as with all EOH products, once applied the product stays in place for the whole day, until you’re ready to remove it. The Ultimate Brow Define has withstood many hot and sweaty Summer days here and I’m definitely very impressed with both the formula and ease of application!

The 3 shades of the Ultimate Brow Define cater well to all hair colours and none of them are too red or too ashy so you’re sure to find a perfect match. Nile is a dark brown and suits brunette to black hairs, Dynasty is a medium ash brown to suit brunettes and Husk is an ash blonde shade to suit fair, blonde and mature brows.

The Ultimate Brow Defines from Eye of Horus retail for $25.00 and are available from the EOH website or retailers around Australia which you can find here.

What type of product do you use to fill in your brows?
