So this Arena Hommes Plus editorial featuring Park Bo Gum is is actually from January 2017 but it caught my eye recently and I'm featuring it because the styling is absolutely impeccable and still relevant. Bo Gum also looks beautiful. While it's fun to see editorials with creative styling, for me it's just as refreshing to see wearable fashion that can actually be worn in real life. These classic fashions are from the Korean clothing brand TNGT which he is a spokesmodel for. The handsome actor models a range of cold weather looks that are as stylish as they are effortless and appropriate for a multitude of occasions. Every outfit is totally on point and there is not one that I dislike. I especially love the one above and the one with the colorblocked sweatshirt, grey pants and parka.
To be honest, this is how I dress my husband so it's not surprising how much it appeals to me. I pick clothes for him based on how I would like to dress if I were a man and I think I'd be quite chic. It helps that he's slim with broad shoulders so that makes it easy for me. People are surprised that my husband lets me choose his clothes. It's not that he's lazy or lacks taste, he defers to me because he trusts my taste and he likes to look good for me. He actually has sharp taste and a strong sense of what works on him. It's not like he doesn't have veto power and it helps that we share a similar aesthetic in that we both like classics on the more polished side. We actually end low key twinning each other quite often. This may be one secret to our long and happy marriage. When you have been married as long as we have, it can be easy to forgo making any effort whatsoever to look decent but doing so is a sign of respect for your SO. Amazingly even though I have found that my husband always finds me attractive and vice versa, the truth is, a little effort does go a long way. It doesn't escape me how incredibly lucky I am to not be married to someone who thinks of dressing up as putting on something clean.
