Lee Dong Wook, the recently appointed face of Boy de Chanel steps out in front of Hong Jang Hyun's lens for Elle Korea appropriately wearing the makeup line created for men. Chosen for his confident, clean cut and masculine image, I'm willing to bet Dong Wook's flawless complexion and handsome face may have contributed to the decision. In the accompanying interview, the 36 year old actor shared that because he has to wear makeup for work, he makes sure have a basic skincare routine for healthy skin. He always does a thorough cleansing and applies lip balm before bed. Dong Wook also revealed what makes him feel manly "The ability to shoulder that kind of responsibility and the ability to take care of the people around me is what makes me feel most masculine.” That sounds pretty sweet and is such a refreshing departure from the traditional trope of alpha male toughness. And by the way, it's totally cool and not unmanly for men to take care of their skin.
