Look who's back from his military service and looking fine as ever! Yes it's Ji Chang Wook! Aptly titled "Back To You" his Marie Claire editorial shot on location in Okinawa, Japan is full of fresh summery vibes. I'm so happy to see him and his handsome self that I'm not even mad at the less than stellar styling and not so subtle merching.
Prior to his discharge on April 27, it was reported that Chang Wook had already been offered leading roles in two dramas which was not surprising since he was always in high demand before. He ultimately passed on the action drama City of Stars and chose Melt Me because the premise of two people who participate in a project to be frozen for 24 hours and end up waking up 20 years later could create some interesting scenarios. I can already see the comedy that can be drawn from the "fish out of water" trope. It's no secret he's a favorite of mine for his acting and singing skills so I'm really excited he is back. Melt Me is slated to air later this year.
