Politics Magazine

Every So Often . . .

Posted on the 31 October 2014 by Adask

I see a story that’s so “real” that–even though it has nothing to do with law, politics or economics–I feel compelled to post it on my blog.

Here’s an example.  It’s about a man (Ronnie Greene of Mascot, Tennessee) who really does seem to have the “spirit of Christmas” year around.

I know this article will be read by some “Grinch” who won’t be able to resist telling us that there is no Santa Claus, that Christmas is pagan holiday, etc.  Maybe so.  But if there’s no Christmas, there still is charity and the man in this video has the “spirit of charity” year around.

This video reminds me of a Frank Capra movie out of the 1940s (It’s A Wonderful Life, Meet John Doe, etc).  It gives us a glimpse of a “reality” that’s seldom seen or even imagined anymore.
