Last month’s event -Williams Brothers

We were there in June when Chris Williams from William Bros brought along 6 of their beers plus a batch of something you’re unlikely to find anywhere else…

Birds & Bees (4.3%) – light, floral ale infused with elderflowers
Seven Giraffes (5.1%) – bitter-sweet malty biscuit & citrus beer
Juniper Tree (3.7%) – summer ale with botanical notes
Paradigm Shift (6.2%) – hoppy red ale with citrus aroma and flavour
Impale IPA (5.5%) – sweet & zesty with tropical fruit aroma & taste
Profanity Stout (7.0%) – Bold resinous stout with floral notes
Chris William’s own home brew (7%ish) – an IPA with a really strong passion fruit & pineapple smell which tasted quite like an alcoholic tropical fruit juice! Incidentally Chris won 2nd place in the recent USA IPA Brewdog home-brew competition.

The 3 courses of food were:

  1. Tempura battered whitebait with chunky chips and a Juniper Tree beer & dill mayo.
  2. Mac & Cheese with bacon, made using Williams Bros premium red ale
  3. Belgian chocolate ice-cream with added Profanity Stout
