Essie at TK Maxx

I love a good bargain. I could literally spend hours scouring through car boots, charity shops or vintage shops all in the hope of finding that special gem. Though when it comes to TK Maxx, I get annoyed, frustrated and generally lose interest while Daniel roots through and finds his Ben Sherman's. Now don't get me wrong, I love TK Maxx, but I have to be in the mood for it and when I'm not I normally mooch around the beauty section which is when I stumbled upon this little trio of Essie nail polishes for £9.99. As Essie seems to become the blogger nail polish of choice, reviews are thick and fast, and a quick google will bring up literally thousands. Though being a blogger myself, I must put in my two cents... The packaging is simple and minimalistic which I love, the brush is the perfect length and thickness and application is a dream. Its opaque is a maximum of two coats, dries fairly quickly with a slight gloss finish. Watermelon is bright and juicy red, bordeaux which is my current favorite is a deep burgundy red, and devil's advocate is an almost black, with a plum undertone that shows in certain lights. Have you seen Essie in your local TK Maxx? Have you tried Essie before? What shade would you recommend I pick up next? I'd love to know! Side note: While in the beauty section, I also noticed that they were selling sets of four Essie polishes for £9.99 but in my local store they were generally less popular shades in the four packs. If you don't manage to find Essie in your local TK Maxx, they are readily available in larger Boots stores and online priced at £7.99.
