Today 5 things enjoyed a champagne afternoon tea at Great Fosters Hotel in Surrey. Great Fosters Hotel is a grade one listed building set amongst 50 acres of gardens and parkland.

One
Warm fabric covered walls with wood beamed ceiling and magnificent stone fireplace with carved oak feature above for cosy winter afternoon tea by an open fire. Select spaced seating and excellent attentive service.
Two
White linen napkins and crisp white linen cloths. Selection of five sandwiches and as many more as you wished. Scones jam cram individual Victoria sponge for two and six stylish mouthwatering cakes.
Three
Friendly elegant atmosphere with the only worry as to whether one put jam or cream first on one’s scone.
Four
Nothing was too much trouble and a jug of iced water was served on request.
Five
There was a good range of black, green and infusion teas, coffees or hot chocolate. The champagne made it very special.
