Enavose Swiss Glacial Loose Powder

By Beautifulbuns

Sometimes, I secretly think that if there were a loanshark equivalent of a PR company, they’d be leaving me comments like ORPR – Owe Review Pay Review with an animated gif of a pig’s head, instead of O$P$. muahaha. Here’s one overdue review on Enavose’s Swiss Glacial Loose Powder.

Enavose Swiss Glacial Loose PowderArriving in such a pretty packaging that I had to take a commemorative shot. Apparently, a lot of the other bloggers who received this also had the same thoughts.

I say…

First of all, a worthy mention is that Enavose is free of parabens, SLES, mineral oil and allergenic fragrances. I know that this will mean a lot to ladies out there with sensitive skin. What’s more, I love the quirky fact that they use anti-microbial spices and herbs such as Wasabi, Radish and Ginger to replace harmful preservatives and chemicals. Right then, on to my comments.

  • The loose powder comes in an adorably small and compact tub.
  • The handle on the lid also doubles as a powder applicator, cos there’s an attached powder puff on the other side. Very good indeed, making the most of space.
  • Twist it open to unleash le powder. Simply tap the sides of the tub gently and the powder will appear through the sifter and appear onto the grates.
  • The powder grains are really fine.
  • There’s barely any coverage – this is more of a setting / finishing powder to me.
  • However, the shimmers are really pretty. It sort of acts as a dewy finisher to your makeup.
  • I personally prefer to use brushes to apply loose powder (in my attempt to act like a professional makeup artist lah), but also cos it gives a more even application. The puff however, is indeed soft and smooth.
  • Also, in tune with my weird makeup preferences – I actually rather not use this on my entire face. Instead, I prefer to just dust it slightly on areas where I wanna highlight – the nose bridge and C-zone. A full face of glitter-induced glow / shimmer (as subtle as the specks are) is just too Twilight for me.

The Enavose Swiss Glacial Loose Powder SPF 15 (5g) retails at SGD39.50 at the Enavose Concept Store at Suntec City Mall, Tower 3 #02-079/081 and on their online store at Enavose.com.
