So it isn't quite spring but the weather has started improving and it definitely had felt more spring like this weekend.I love these bright sunny days, my partner and I have been for some lovely walks this weekend spending some time together before baby makes an appearance.
I thought I would share a few things that I have enjoyed using over the weekend that has made me feel like the better weather could be here to stay.
Fresh Glowy Makeup - I have been wearing quite simple make up the last few days. A clean, fresh base with a subtle gold eye and lots of mascara. Some of the products I have used to do this is the Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights Palette which adds a gorgeous glow to the skin and the Lola Blush Duo* to give my cheeks a peach/bronze color. On the eyes its all about eyeshadow pencils, I have been wearing the Nudestix Magnetic Eye Colour in Gilt all over the lids and then lined my eyes with Collections Eyeshadow Pencil in Hot Chocolate. Lastly on the lips I have been loving Tom Ford Pink Dusk which I do not use enough.
Fresh Flowers - Since getting a bunch for my birthday in February I have been updating the house with fresh flowers every week. There is nothing like flowers to make the house feel bright and cheerful. I also picked up some Daffodils a few days ago which I am waiting for them to bloom. Nothing screams spring like Daffodils.
Bright Nails - Gone are the nude and dark shades and out come the bright nail polishes. I painted my nails with Barry M Pink Flamingo Saturday night which is a bright vibrant coral pink. I keep finding myself admiring my finger tips.
Fresh Scented Candles - Candles are often thought of a more Autumn/Winter thing but there is also some lovely scents out there that are perfect for this time of year.
The L'Erbolario 3 Rosa* candle is a recent discovery of mine and it has the most gorgeous subtle rose scent that isn't too overpowering or 'old lady' like. Definitely one for you floral lovers out there.
