For my sixteenth birthday I received a beautiful, holographic box full of Elf goodies from one of my dearest friends Savannah. She got me primer, eyeshadow, and this mascara. When I went and tried the mascara for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised of the results...
I like more natural, defined eyelashes compared to the big, voluminous, spider-like lashes many girls in the US enjoy. I think this mascara really delivers when it comes to keeping the eyes looking natural and sweet.
The packaging is pretty standard for Elf products. I really like the wand and feel it is strong, but I have heard instances where the wand breaks. I do not think it is a big deal because if that happens to me, I will return to my nearest Target to get a replacement.
I wanted to mention how I apply this Mascara because it does contribute to how it looks. From the picture above, the mascara wand has two different sides: a curved and a straight side. First I like to apply the mascara using the straight edge to my top lashes and bottom lashes. To complete the lashes I like to flip to the curved edge and comb through my top lashes.
If you go up-close and personal with the wand, you can see the tiny little fibers that lengthen your lashes.
The final outcome is longer and defined eyelashes ^_^
Overall, I really love this mascara for everyday and natural makeup looks. I would recommend this to EVERYONE because it is affordable and gave great results. I would definitely repurchase^^
