I'm finally reviewing E.L.F's Mineral Foundation after using it for a good six months!

E.L.F. Mineral Foundation Review

ELF Mineral Foundation

From time to time I buy products without the intention of reviewing them. As a beauty blogger I tend to have quite a few products on the go at once and sometimes some of these don't seem quite as exciting as others, so I don't tend to post a review on them. The ELF Mineral Foundation is one of these products, a mineral foundation doesn't seem as exciting as a new lipstick or blush but it has become a staple of my makeup routine, so I figured it was time it got its own review!

ELF Mineral Foundation is a fine, loose powder

What prompted me to review this foundation after so long was the sunshine. The ELF Mineral Foundation comes with SPF 15, which is a great bonus in a product that is so affordable. Priced at just £5 this foundation is a real bargain. The foundation is very sheer and lightweight, you would have to have really great skin to get away with this product on its own.I apply it over my liquid foundation and concealer to set them in place. It adds a little more coverage and helps to set my foundation for the day. I think it also helps to give the skin a more even and dewy effect that I find really flattering.

The ELF Mineral Foundation is a loose foundation and with this comes the usual problems associated with loose powder, in that it can be a little bit tricky to apply without some fallout. If this is something that really bothers you I'd stick to a pressed powder but as far as mineral foundation goes I really like this product. This product has become a daily essential for me. It is a super affordable sheer and flattering mineral powder and at just £5 is a great bargain.Follow me on:
