ELES Cosmetics: Best Selling Product + Interview with Liane Scior

Over the past year, ELES Cosmetics has made its round amongst Aussie beauty blogs and I have to say I am a big fan. I can't really think of any product that has disappointed me; in fact, I have come to associate ELES with gorgeous shades and excellent quality.
I got to ask the Liane Scior, the creator of ELES and also the Director of Marketing & Education at Universal Aesthetics, some questions about their best selling product!
 Q: What inspired you to create ELES? Liane: I’ve always had a passion for luxury products, I’m a sybarite at heart but I’m equally passionate about products that are therapeutic and beneficial for the skin and body.  I created ELES Mineral Makeup because I’d searched in vain for three years for the right makeup line to enhance the great results of Pevonia skin care and I couldn’t find it.  Don’t get me wrong, there are many great products out there but nothing that met the criteria I’d set which was pretty demanding.    ELES has all the benefits of the Mineral Makeup lines such as triple-milled minerals and other protective ingredients but is so much easier to use and apply because it’s pressed the same way traditional makeup is.  It’s mineral but not messy.  In addition it includes some of the most potent anti-aging ingredients available which makes it more like a skin care line than a cosmetic cover-up.  It treats the skin while it conceals flaws. Q: What would you say is ELES' best selling product?Liane: The Age Defying BB Cream 30 Q: Why do you think this product is so popular? Liane: It's jam packed with beneficial skin care ingredients and gives wonderful coverage as well as sun protection. Clients love the fact that it does everything; primes, hydrates, protects from the sun and makes the skin look flawless but they also love this over other BB Creams because it lasts so long on the skin and has a satiny finish that suits all skin types. Q: Who do you think this product appeals to? Liane: People looking for multitasking products that are fast and easy to apply but give great results that last.  Those that seek natural products free of parabens and other nasty chemicals and those that like to wear makeup but not feel it on the skin.  Personally, I have 2 ELES BB Creams - one in Medium and one in Deep. The Medium shade gets me through most of the year but I am in between Medium and Deep during the hot sunny months when I get a lot more tanned. It provides SPF30 which is very convenient and reduces the extra sunscreen step for me in the mornings when I just slap it on and go.
