Eggless Chocolate Chunk Pizza

By Thebhukkadbawarchi

Pizza and Chocolate, two of my favorite things in this world brought together to make something crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside.

Eggless Chocolate Chunk Pizza

Chocolate chunk pizza!! Perfect dessert to enjoy with your family and friends!

The best way to serve this Chocolate Chunk Pizza is with a few scoops of vanilla ice cream scooped right on top. The ice cream melts right over it as you eat it and it tastes heavenly.

Things to remember/Tips:

  • Use softened butter. Microwave it for 10-12 seconds it is cold
  • If you want your pizza to be crunchy, skip cornstarch. It makes the pizza chewy
  • I used Hershey’s special dark chocolate, you may use dark or milk chocolate
  • Add toppings: chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, marshmallows, chocolates, dry fruits or fresh fruits
  • Egg version of this recipe – Replace (i) condensed milk with 1 egg at room temperature and (ii) 3/4th cup powdered sugar with 1 cup of powdered sugar
Eggless Chocolate Chunk Pizza

Ingredients

  • ½ cup softened salted butter
  • ⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk (or 1 egg at room temperature)
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar (1 cup – if using egg)
  • 1 and ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • 1 tbsp. melted chocolate for a drizzle on top (optional)
  • ½ pinch of salt, to sprinkle on top

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda and corn starch together. Keep this aside.
  2. Pre-heat your microwave to 180 degree Celsius. In a separate bowl, beat butter with a hand whisk until it is fluffy and then add sugar. Beat it until the mixture becomes light. Add the condensed milk and mix lightly.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and fold it in. Add the chocolate chunks (keep some aside for later) and mix the batter gently.
  4. Divide the dough into two parts. Spread one part on a baking dish (I used an 8’ baking dish). Chop the remaining chocolate chunks into finer pieces and spread over the dough. Cover this with the rest of the dough. Sprinkle salt and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. You can skip this step and just make the pizza with a single layer of dough instead.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate and serve with ice-cream.
