By Prasanna Hede @savorybites0411

By now, looking at most of my posts, many of my readers would have known that I have a sweet tooth!!
Here's another dessert I made, Egg-less Caramel Pudding!!...usually I make with egg but this time I made it egg-less as I wanted to eat it on a vegetarian day :)
Well, as expected it turned out good and super tasty. Very easy to make and takes almost 25 mins to cook it.
I shall put my recipe of Caramel Pudding with Egg soon..it is also super moist and would melt in mouth :)

Caramel pudding has been on my favorite list since childhood. This used to be my fixed dessert for party menu's, as I can finish it on no time!!

Try out this recipe of mine and enjoy!!

  • Leave it aside for 5 mins and then grind it in a mixer grinder.
  • In a bowl, add condensed milk, bread mixture, vanilla essence and mix well.
  • Beat the yogurt well and add to it. Mix further.
  • In the cooker container or any other pan, add sugar and water and keep it on gas and let the sugar melt properly.
  • Tilt the pan so that the caramel spreads evenly on the pan.
  • When the caramel is hot, immediately add the nutmeg and cardamom powder on the caramel.
  • Let it cool for 5 mins.
  • Add the condensed milk-bread mixture on to this and pressure cook it without the weight for 20-25 mins.
  • Once done, take the container out of the cooker and keep it to cool down.
  • Loosen the edges with knife and invert on a serving dish.
  • Serve chilled!!

  • I have not added any sugar here as condensed milk I used was already sweetened.
  • You can skip the bread or yogurt part. If you skip bread then add 3/4 qty of thick yogurt and if you want to skip yogurt then with 3 slices of bread the pudding will hold perfectly.

Enjoy Eating!!
