Cold Town House Bar & Brewery

Signature Pubs have launched Cold Town House, a new bar and brewery in Edinburgh's Grassmarket.

Following a £4m investment, the former site of the Robertson Memorial Church has been transformed to create a brewery, bar, restaurant and rooftop terrace.

As well as fresh beer, stone baked Neapolitan pizza will be baked to perfection in a pizza oven custom-made in Naples. The dough is fermented using Cold Town Beer for 24 Hours.

Cold Town House will open from the end of February at 4 Grassmarket, EH1 2JU. Looking forward to trying out the 🍺 and the 🍕

Loudons opens second Edinburgh site

Loudons have opened the doors of its second premises at New Waverley. The new branch represents a seven-figure investment for the brand with the new site seating over 130 customers, features custom-designed oak tables and Lammhults chair.

A large, open-plan kitchen will allow diners to see chefs skilfully crafting Loudons' signature dishes, such as its famed Eggs Benny dishes (boasting 14 varieties to choose from), healthy power bowls or spiced vegan pancakes.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm and Weekends 8am to 5pm.

For the traveller on a budget, but who doesn't want to feel it. Functional, clean, cater to most tastes for a drink but the food menu had no clear vegan or GF options which is a little short-sighted in this day.
