Easy DIY: Pokeball Punchbox

By Ctbas @ctbas

I made a Candy Punchbox for my daughter’s 9th birthday, so it’s only fair that I make one for my son’s 9th. Luckily, the Pokemon theme he chose totally lends itself to a punchbox. Easy DIY: Pokeball PunchboxUsing the same basic steps, I used red, white and black tissue paper to create the pokeballs. I started with gluing the black strip in the middle.  I used separate strips just in case the kids punched a little too hard. I didn’t want the entire stripe to tear down the row of Pokeballs. Easy DIY: Pokeball Punchbox  Then added the red and the white halves.  Again, I used separate rectangles to prevent more than one Pokeball from being punched out.

I flipped it over and added the button detail with black and white tissue paper circles.

I attached the paper bags as in my candy punchbox tutorial, filling them with little Pokemon figures that I found on eBay.  I put three in a little cello bag to make sure no one lost a figure.
