Earth Hour 2011
This March, the whole world will again celebrate the Earth Hour. This practice had started way back 2007 with one city, taking their stand against climate change. There are 2.2 million people across Sydney that switch their lights off. Last 2008, Earth Hour went global. Over 50 million people in 400 cities around the world participate in it.  In 2009, the big switch off united the planet. Around 1,000 cities across 88 countries took part. Last year (2010) became the biggest Earth Hour ever. 128 countries and territories commit themselves to the event.

Tomorrow, another Earth hour for 2011 will happen. We should do our share and participate in switching off the lights.

At 8:30PM tomorrow, March 26, join me in switching off the lights to show our stand against climate change. ^_^myLot User Profile
