The fine website Human-Stupidity reports that an adult man was charged with possession of child pornography and given a mandatory 2 year minimum sentence. The child porn video that he possessed was a video of himself masturbating when he was 12 years old!
That is absolutely insipid. If I take a photo of myself nude when I am 13 years old and then look at it as an adult later on, I am guilty of possession of child pornography?
We are truly in the midst of a mass hysteria and moral panic. These sort of things promote mass idiocy in large groups of humans, up to tens of millions at a time, when all rationality and reason goes out the window.
