Dry Shampoo and Alternative

Dry shampoo and alternative
At first this seems like it might be a pointless post talking about dry shampoo as it is a staple item that every girl should already own.  Designed to add some volume and make hair look more fresh, it is a must for me with my oily hair type.  I have been through many Batiste cans over the years and last month decided I didn't want to be buying it as regularly any more.  At around £3 it is very affordable but I don't find it lasts as long as I would like it too.  This is how I came to the decision of an alternative.  Talc is generally known as a product used on baby skin but also a powder, just like Batiste.
I use Talc now as a dry shampoo because I find it to be very effective and more worth the money as it is cheaper and comes in larger amounts.  If my hair is looking flat/greasy the night before then I will apply it to the problem areas and sleep with it on, combing out in the morning.  If my hair is looking flat/greasy in the morning but was fine the night before, then I apply it to the problem areas and making combing it out the last thing I do before leaving the house.  I still use Batiste but only on very bad days where I know that I will need touch ups throughout the day (which is rare), or if I am traveling.
For those people who don't regularly carry dry shampoo around on a daily basis, I definitely recommend to try cheaper alternatives within beauty like this one.
