Dream Job of Natalia Uzieblo-Kiyak

By Dreamjobdiva

I have met Natalia, not so long ago during one of the networking events. This time it was a 14 years anniversary of existence of ToP (Polish Women association in The Netherlands). We are both from Warsaw and now happily we are both living in The Hague – thanks to the ToP, I am meeting more and more very interesting, fun, intelligence and special people.

Name:                              Natalia Uzieblo-Kiyak

Country / city:               Den Haag, Netherlands, I come from Warsaw, Poland

Natalia

What is your dream?

My dream is our Planet with clean air, fresh water and food for everybody. On 20 August 2013 we officially have used the resources of our Mother Earth (WWF). My dream is all the people waking up and no war because of lack of water around year 2050*.

What is my dream job?

Work for the development of eco-energy, pollution-free, eco-farms producing fruits and vegetables without the use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers, reducing deforestation, providing drinking water to people who lack it, expand awareness of the people to whom nothing is missing. I believe that behind the corner, probably something even better is waiting for me.The key word is awareness and being non-stop aware. A job where I can be myself without shutting down myself after crossing the threshold, that’s what I wish to everyone.
At this point I would like the reader to pay attention to the fact that each of our choice in favour of this or that product, is against or for the planet. If at least one person will be making as much as possible selections pro the Planet,it was worth to write these words.

How to reduce our ecological foot print and take care of Earth every day? WWF recommends that you use there strain of power, replace the car for a bicycle or public transport as soon as possible, eat the food, which was created in an environmentally friendly way and choose products with organic certification. When buying fish and fish products check you have the MSC certification ensures that the fish come from sustainable fisheries. Buy products which were produced close to the place where you live. You will be sure they weren’t transported from too far and you are not paying for polluting the air by the car which was transporting the food.

How did you achieve your goal = dream job? / how do you plan to achieve your goal=dream job?

My plan is to meet people who care about the situation in which we are now. Assuming that without making anything to improve the situation, we make things worse,it would be immoral for me to work in a museum, gallery, television or travel office because I would provide only entertainment to people. It does not push anything forward.

What is your tip to others concerning the Dream Job / Life?

At this point,I am thinking ofAhimsa. AsMahatma Gandhisaid, is not only not to kill, but do not harm any creature in thought, word or deed. **

Who are you?

I am wife of my loving husband Utku and mother of Miko Ali. We are expats now. We are in the beginning of our trip through life and I know it will be a beautiful journey. We have Polish and Turkish origins and nomadic characters. This sounds like a good scenario.

*Philip Wollen, ex City Bank’s CEO, famous speech,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMzd6DvTg3E

**Ahimsa does not simply mean non-killing. Himsa means causing pain to or killing any life out of anger or for a selfish purpose or with the intention of injuring it. Refraining from so doing is ahimsa. Ahimsa means not to injure any creature by thought, word or deed. True ahimsa should mean a complete freedom from ill- will and anger and hate and an overflowing love for all. Ahimsa is the attribute of the soul and therefore to be practiced by everybody in all the affairs of life. http://www.gandhianpeace.com/quotes.html
