Sheet masks have always been part of my skincare routine; I've had my fair share, yes, some stand out some did not, but what I have here today is so much more than just the usual one, Dr. Morita sheet masks as history like no other sheet masks have. I will tell a quick background later on in this post.

This sheet mask's is loaded with essence people! I'd say you can even use an extra sheet mask (the dry one) and Dr. Morita can still soak it with essence for another use. The essence is rich and leaves a slight stickiness on the skin for at least 10 minutes to which made me conclude that it is best used at night before going to sleep. It's almost as if you applied a layer of emulsion and serum onto your skin. Which is really nice if you think about it.
I also have a funny experience while using my first Dr. Morita Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask, you will notice in the photo above that the mask didn't quite fit my face, and I was like "D*amn this mask's holes are just wrong! It doesn't even fit" only to find out that the protective sheet was still there making it not fit perfectly. Still, it did not change the fact how this mask instantly cured the dry patches around my nose area and made my skin extra hydrated. I've decided to use it once a week as the effect actually lasts for about 2-3 days. My skin looked plumper and even close to achieving the glass skin effect, though I know for sure that continuous usage is recommended for a lasting result.

Proper Usage and Pro Tips:
- Cleanse your face. Apply mask on the face and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Remove and gently massage around the face area for the essence to be fully absorbed by the skin. No need to rinse off.
- Dr. Chun Hsu Jou, third generation of the brand's founding family shares that their sheet masks already have toner, lotion, and serum. Those with dry skin may apply moisturizing serum or cream, if so desired. Hurray for one-step skin care!
- Dr. Jou also recommends using Dr. Morita sheet masks before going to bed for revitalized skin in the morning.
- Don't let the excess leftover essence in the sheet mask package go to waste. Use it on your face and neck the next morning or night.
- Don't leave sheet masks on for more than the recommended time, as it will result in "reverse osmosis," leaving your skin drier than the ideal.
