Deodorant is important during hot summer weather, but it's just as important in the winter. I don't know about you, but going from being outside in a heavy down coat, to an over-heated car, back outside and then into a warm home or office really puts my deodorant to the test.I recently received Dove's new Advanced Care Nourished Beauty deodorant with the brand's nutrium moisture to review. My initial reaction was how good it smelled. It claims to be an antiperspirant for 48 hours.
My typical routine is I take a shower at night after I get home from the gym and apply deodorant after my shower. Then, I usually apply more the next morning before work and then again before I go back to the gym.
I didn't change this routine while testing out Dove's new deodorant and I definitely noticed that my underarms smelled fresh like the product throughout the day. I used this product for about a week and was satisfied with its ability to keep me smelling fresh, but I had to stop using it after my underarms because irritated and itchy.
I was disappointed that this product bothered my skin because I didn't get to use it long enough to see if it would make a difference in my skin.
I tend to have pretty sensitive skin, so I'm assuming there was an ingredient that just didn't agree with my skin because the deodorant I was using before and have continued to use after is Dove's go fresh Cool Essentials.
