It has started its own 24/7 programming for every dog in the world with access to the internet to watch DogTV online!

What will Rover say when he finds out that even if his stubborn cable company doesn't want his business, DogTV does, and it will get his business if his owner forks up $9.99 a month for DogTV online service.  Now, that's not really too bad for 24/7 access to other dogs doing cool stuff like swimming and playing in the park with other dogs. That will certainly keep Rover from getting lonely or bored when the humans are away, and it's much cheaper than a pet sitter!

In case you have not heard about DogTV yet,  the 24/7 digital TV channel has hundreds of short TV programs all professionally created by animal behaviorists.  They have three major aims: to relax and calm your dog, to stimulate him, and to get him used to experiencing new things, like riding in a car. The videos are each 3 to 5 minutes long and have been tested on dogs to assure that activity levels, volume, and background music appropriately evoke the desired response.

Here's one of the videos....

It's worth a try certainly for you and your dog to watch if you have the time.  For more information about DogTV, visit the website.  If you are already familiar with the service and want to subscribe to internet and/or mobile service, you can go directly to the subscription page here.
