A little while ago you may remember we were sent some yummy biscuits to review from Vinnie the Panda at Fox’s. Well he’s been kind enough to send us some more biscuits together with some of his delicious new coffee!
I have to say I am not the biggest coffee drinker, when at home I prefer tea. However, I think this is mainly due to the fact that we only ever have instant coffee in the house which just can’t compete with the real thing! When I received Vinnie’s new coffee I decided this would be a great time to treat myself to a caftiere so that I could drink some proper coffee at home!
The new range of biscuits has been created by Fox’s as the perfect accompaniment to coffee because of it’s unique flavours and textures. The range includes Caramel Snaps, Hazelnut Snaps, Caramel Waffles, Milk Chocolate Caramel Slices, Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Slices, Hazelnut Thins and Caramel Thins.
So what did we think?
Caramel Slices
I loved these biscuits! I am a big fan of millionaire’s shortbread and this is just what these reminded me of. They were delicious with a big, thick layer of chocolate, just the right amount of oozing caramel and a lovely, crunchy biscuit. They felt like a very naughty treat! My only complaint is that there were not enough in the packet!
Hazelnut Snaps
These are a great biscuit to have to dunk in your coffee (no, I’m not sophisticated at all!). They were a great flavor and really crunchy. I liked the way they snapped in half really easily, making them even easier to dunk! No complaints with how many in this packet, there were loads!
Vinnie’s Cwoffee
What a difference to the instant I normally drink! It took me a couple of goes to get the right amount in my new sparkling caftiere, however, once I’d worked out the right amount the coffee was gorgeous. It has a really rich flavor and I can’t get enough! I am definitely drinking more coffee now and am really enjoying it again so thanks Vinnie!
I would highly recommend the biscuits to anyone, they would go well with tea too, or just to scoff as a snack!
