Do

By Colloquial Wordsmiths

Two simple alphabets, however if placed together,  they form a word powerful enough to turn a mass of people into a nation- DO.

The last time we decided to do or die, it changed the map of the world.

Today we reach a state where the eyes of the world are on us again. Everything around us is collapsing while we are just watching, as if we were sitting in a movie theater. We cry when there are sad moments and we laugh when there are funny and we smile when there are lovable ones.

Everything is collapsing and we are watching, forgetting that it will take us down as well. Being the most intellectual specie on the earth, we are doing nothing to prosper it but bring calamity on this planet.

The last time we decided to do or die, it changed the map of the world.

So, what are we going to DO to change this? How are we going to turn the land of philosophers into a nation of doers? Are we going to keep thinking about what we should be doing? Are we going to simply shrug our shoulders and blame our infrastructure, bureaucracy and our political system? Or are we going to roll up our sleeves, get up and actually DO something about it?

The truth is that, thinking can happen on your armchair but doing must happen on your feet. Thinking can be a great way of getting things started but, DOing is the only way to get them done. And let’s face it, you never got caught up in a traffic jam, you are the traffic jam.

Don’t let your fears become boxes that enclose you. Open them out feel them and turn them into the greatest courage you are capable of, I promise you nothing will go wrong.
So get up, and DO all that it takes, all that you can.
