SO about a year ago, I saw a girl at a club wearing these bad boys:
Rock and Republic Pandora Platform heels. *Drool* I wanted them so bad. Of course, with a price tag of $350, there was no way I was going anywhere near a pair. And now that it’s been discontinued, it’d be impossible to get them even if I could afford to.
I thought about them recently and decided that it wouldn’t be too complicated to make something similar on my own. Check it out after the jump!
I had a pair of black heeled sandals already, so all I had to do was add the chain details. Quick trip to a local craft store got me what I needed (I also had an old necklace I wasn’t wearing anymore, so I used that chain as well).
It took a bit of trial and error. And more jump rings and lobster claws than I had planned for. But I think the end result is pretty good!
They wouldn’t pass for Rock and Republic, but for a fraction of the price, they will do. I’m quite happy with this.
