What’s a girl to do when someone leaves a very expensive Louis Vuitton purse lying around? Turn it into a vase of course! What started as “that would be a cool picture,” turned into a DIY that I really love! It’s a great way to display vintage purses that might otherwise be left on a dusty shelf somewhere.
You can display it on a desk or counter…
Or stack on top of vintage suitcases / old chairs to brighten up a corner.
- a vintage purse
- a few books
-Loads of flowers! I used three vases and several loose flowers. Have fun with color and texture!
1. Take a few old book and lay them on the bottom of the purse, this will add height and weight to your arrangement.
2. Add the vases of flowers to the purse, you want them to fit snug so they don’t fall over and spill water.
3. Have fun adding single flowers into the arrangement, I made sure to add some at the very sides so they appear to be spilling out.
4. Display your arrangement for all to see!
