Dita Von Teese Looks Stunning in World’s First Fully 3D Printed Dress

Popular American dancer/model, Dita Von Teese recently debuted the “world’s first fully 3D printed dress” which was designed by Michael Schmidt and Francis Bitoni specifically for her. The dress was printed by Shapeways, a 3D printing marketplace.

According to Mashable, Schmidt has designed this dress using his iPad. It was made from 17 pieces and 3000 joints, styling with 13,000 black Swarovski crystals.

3D technology is becoming more and more common around the world.  People are even starting to make their own objects at home using small 3D printers, which can now be purchased at an unbelievably cheap cost. This amazing dress is proof of what yet to come. Soon, you will get to make big things like this at your home too.
