Diffusing Straight Hair

By Yougottabegorgeousx @yougottabgorgex
I have the straightest of straight hair ever, if I let it dry naturally it has no volume and clings to my face. I never thought to use a diffuser on it before but my hairdresser mentioned something about it so I thought I would give it a go. Obviously, if you have straight hair, you're not going to get ringlets or anything crazy but I have found that I can get tons more lasting volume and a little bit of a wave going on.

I use the Remington Ionic Dryer, which is really good. It dries your hair really quickly and keeps it looking healthy. Basically all I do is scrunch the hair up, whack it on the dryer and blast. That's it.

I also use the VO5 Plump It Up Blow Dry Lotion, I can not recommend this enough. I need to do a post comparing my hair with it and without because it makes so much of a difference to my hair.

And that is my result. As you can see there's loads of volume and some waves. By diffusing straight hair you can get a beachy, soft waves kinda look. Which I think is great because it means I don't have to use as much heat (using a curling wand) and less products can be used to try and keep in the style.
Have you diffused straight hair before? Any tips?
