Designing a Dream Workspace

By Kcsaling009 @kcsaling

What a tremendous week it’s been so far! I’ve really been throwing myself into both work and my 101 in 1001, and I’m ticking off both checklists and writing up a storm, both here at Living the Happy Ever After and at my systems engineering and social media blog, System Dynamics. And today marks a first for me – I’m guest blogging for Karen on her PR & Social Media blog today, talking about the benefits and necessity of creating visual content! Woohoo!

All this work has me thinking about putting more work into my workspace at home. Right now, my computer’s balancing on a desk in the corner, and while I don’t need anything too fancy, I spend a lot of time there between work, research, social media, and blogging. It was easy for me to figure out an ideal kitchen for me}, but what about my workspace?

I always start by dreaming big, so I’ve started gathering designs both to inspire me and to start planning my forever workspace {for that life after Army house we keep talking about}, so here are some of the favorites I’ve collected on Houzz:

designing a dream workspace
Contemporary Home Office design by New York Kitchen And Bath Kitchens & Baths, Linda Burkhardt
designing a dream workspace
Contemporary Home Office design by San Francisco Interior Designer Mark Newman Design
designing a dream workspace
Traditional Home Office design by Toronto Interior Designer Jacqueline Glass and Associates
designing a dream workspace
Modern Home Office design by Seattle Architect DeForest ArchitectsThe last one is my absolute favorite. I just know that I need windows and a place to store plenty of books, and I’d like to have a sitting/reading area – and if I could make space for the hubby and I to share an office, it would be perfect.

What are YOUR likes and must haves for a perfect home workspace?

:D
