When it is bright and clear, the rain came pouring. Sometimes in the night also. Regardless, it is also an opportunity to sow seeds and propagate plants in the open :-D No need to check if they need some shelter or water.
The pic below shows a pot of English Lavender (botanical name: Lavandula augustifolia). After flowering the plant just wilted. It wilted even quicker during rainy days.
Fortunately plants like Azalea is tough enough and don't mind the rain at all. The bloom is sweet as a candy :-)
I took time to replant some plants but also threw away some dead plants. One of my hibiscus was sadly 'drowned' (roots rotted) by the frequent rain and cloudy sky. The Sweet Potato Vine plant on the other hand grew a few leaves, promising many more to come.
Another plant that is promising me lots of foliage to follow is my Maidenhair fern (Adiantum sp.). Earlier the fern just dried up as I forgot to water it. I removed all the dried foliage and later saw a few little fronds coming out from the sphagnum moss. Can you see?
Gardening got a little more interesting when I installed some solar lights, that light up in the night, in my garden. In the afternoon the solar panel convert sunlight into power...

I love watching how the lighted butterfly change colours...
Here is another 'butterfly' on a solar stick light...
During the day, it is pink but at dusk, the glow from the optical fiber changes in color. There is green, purple, blue, red and pink :)
