My experience: Freshness is the key note, when I choose a fragrance for my husband. And Davidoff Cool Water Eau De Toilette does not disappoint me at any point. Opening with a fresh, almost herby aroma of mint and rosemary, the fragrance goes deep into the heart with a little floral touch of jasmine and neroli, further settling into a warm, woody world of cedarwood and some smoke of tabacco. What a masculine combination one can think of!! Davidoff Cool Water Eau De Toilette is by far one of my most favorite fragrances. It has the perfect blend of freshness and the warmth that one would prefer. The freshness is not too breezy, the warmth is not too overpowering. Sometimes I like to use men's fragrances, but not this one as its too masculine for my preference and I would rather like it on a man. The sturdy shape of the bottle along with the classic blue colour, speaks of the man who can climb a mountain in leather boots, while solving the most difficult calculations. The fragrance stays for a really long time. Generally, the base note of the fragrance stays back for long, but with this fragrance from Davidoff, the notes that stay forever are that of the herby freshness mixed with some musky touch.
