Summer is in full swing in NYC now which means I'm living in dresses. There are two maxi dresses on this months wish list. All of my dresses are actually midi length and I've actually stayed away from maxi lengths because I have concerns that they would make me look short but after trying on one recently I think it can work as long as it's not too voluminous and the hem hits above the ankles. I choose silhouettes carefully because I'm very conscious about dressing for my body type and appearing as long and lean as possible.

Got this on sale for 25% off so it was such a bargain. Haven't used it yet but it's really cute.
I tried on the H&M Kaftan Dress and even a size 0 was cut too generously for me. I'm usually a size 4 at H&M.
