Current Hair Products I’m Using

current hair products
Hiya friends! The last time I talked about my hair care routine was in May last year. So I thought it’s time to give an update on the current hair products I’m using. Just wanted to quickly say that at the time of taking this photo (6 weeks ago), I have only just received Kelapa Shampoo and Conditioner in the mail. The reason why I had to take photos first is because once you leave it in the shower, the packaging gets kind of gross and it doesn’t look good in photos anymore. As a blogger we always strive to better our photos so most of us always take photos before we actually use it. Pheww..glad I got that out of the way, just in case you were wondering why the bottles were still full.

Kelapa Organics Shampoo and Conditioner

Kelapa Organics’ is Australian Certified Organic, vegan and vegetarian friendly. They are also made and owned in Australia. The products are free from sodium lauryl sulphate, synthetic fragrances, artificial preservatives, artificial colours and parabens. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) is the stuff that helps shampoo lather and although this shampoo is free of SLS, it still lathers quite decently. Both the shampoo and conditioner are formulated with organic coconut oil and argan oil to help nourish and protect the hair. After 6 weeks of using this, my hair is tangle-free and incredibly soft.

Shu Uemura Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil

I got the Shu Uemura hair oil from a blogging event I was invited to sometime last week. Prior to the event, I didn’t know much about their hair care range. Shu Uemura are well known for their eyelashes and oil cleansers, they also have an amazing range of skincare too! The Shu Uemura Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil is seriously a great product. It feels luxurious and light on my hair. I use it mostly on my ends and sometimes work through my head. I’ve used it on wet and dry hair, both works just as well.

Kerastase Touche Perfection

The Kerastase Touche Perfection was featured on my post last year. This is a much loved product but I did stop using it for almost half a year and found it in my beauty cabinet a couple of months ago. It gives my dry bits an extra something.

Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Masque

I love using hair masks once a week and this one is seriously good. I usually leave it on for 5-10mins while I’m showering. It leaves my hair super soft and bouncy. I almost forgot to mention how amazing this masque smells, actually all Aveda products smells this amazing.

GHD Heat Protect Spray

The GHD Heat Protect Spray was also featured on my post last year. I love the black sleek packaging and it fits perfectly in my hands. It’s a super lightweight spray and the scent is not annoying. I think I’m up to my 3rd or 4th bottle now, it’s that great! One bottle will last me a year and it’s about $22 purchased online.

Toni & Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo

Washing my hair is a chore to me. Sometimes if I’m feeling ultra lazy, I can go without washing my hair for 5 days straight with the help of my trusty Toni & Guy Cleanse Dry Shampoo. The husband thinks I’m gross haha but seriously I really can’t be bothered. This dry shampoo smells amazing. Every time I use it, feels like I’ve just stepped out of the hairdresser.  Can you believe it leaves no white residual??? Spray and spray and nothing!!

So tell me how often do you wash your hair?

Kelapa products were provided for consideration and Shu Uemura hair oil was part of a goodie bag. It has not influenced my opinion in anyway. The rest of the other products were purchased by moi.
