Curious About Group Theory? Visual is the Way to Go

By Bbenzon @bbenzon

After hearing my podcast with Amie Wilkinson, someone asked me about books they could use to teach themselves group theory or abstract algebra. I recommended Nathan Carter‘s book “Visual group theory“ and Charles Pinter’s “A book of abstract algebra”. Other suggestions?

Don't know the books, or group theory for that matter. But Strogatz is sharp so I take his advice seriously.
