I've become a huge fan of the author over the past few months since I stumbled across her book, End of Days which I thought was amazing. I still have quite a lot of her back catalogue to read, mainly the ARKANE books. I thought Crypt of Bone was a terrific read. There's something I love about the blend of ancient legends and modern technology and I love the idea of the ARKANE agency, they remind me of the TV series Fringe and the like. Thanatos is the Greek god of death, a fitting name for a fanatic hell-bent on wiping out what he sees as 'unfit' members of the population to welcome in a new perfect race. Sound familiar? Hitler anyone? This has everything I've come to expect from the author's books; great characters, fast pace and lots of action. I look forward reading the other ARKANE books at some point.
