Cream Teas and a Sea Breeze.

By Teaantoast @teaantoastblog
At the beginning of the month I said on Facebook and Twitter and I was going to have a little break away from blogging and the social media alike. I think it's so important sometimes to take time away from the "Internet world" and spend sometime with family and friends. I really need a break from everything and it did me the world of good! I went away with my boyfriend and his family to Dawlish in Devon. It was such a beautiful place, although the weather was pants the whole weekend (did nothing but rain) it was a really relaxing and special place. We enjoyed plenty of afternoon teas, strolls along the beaches, collecting shells out the sand, swimming in the pool and cheesy entertainment: a traditional English holiday.

The one day we really wanted to go to Paignton Zoo but the weather was so bad we decided to put it on our list of places to go in the summer. We put our coats on and headed down to Torquay instead for the day. Another beautiful traditionally English holiday place...

I love weekends away like this, where's your favorite place to go to get away from things?

With Love,
