“It was different from any love story I’d ever seen before – after all, the leading character was as likely to suck your blood as open the door for you. I was obsessed,” Lauren talked about her love for the series.

Lauren was tired and disappointing of the guys she dated at college, until she met a life-size cardboard cut out of Edward Cullen. It was love at first sight. Well, of course he’s the ideal man every woman wishes for – a silent, handsome guy who does nothing but listen to all your problems.
“Of course he was made from cardboard, but that didn’t matter to me. Suddenly I was taken over with an urge to have him. I grabbed his rigid torso and stuffed him under my arm before marching to the counter and handing over a $20 note.”
After dating for a few months, Lauren has decided to get married to the cardboard cutout at a Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in front of 50 guests. Now if that doesn’t say love, I don’t know what is.
