CourseCode: Honest Reviews of Coding Courses Or Learning Programming Differently

Posted on the 13 July 2015 by Therisingcontinent @Ambrosenz

CourseCodeThere are things we do in our everyday lives that we don’t think about while we’re doing them. For me, it’s writing. When I write I don’t question where writing came from, when I first got involved, or particularly how we started learning about the basics of the alphabet.

Coding is writing, but for computers. It’s simply a set of instructions you write to your computer to get an output. Some years back I happened to be interested in website design. I even developed a few sites. Although I was not coding the back-end of the sites to build them, it seemed relatively easy.

A few months ago, I got a conversation with Natalie, founder of CourseCode. She persuaded me on the possibilities of coding. She guided me into finding the most suitable coding course based on what I wanted to achieve.

CourseCode is, in the words of its founder, a community for anyone who wants to learn how to code but needs some help figuring out where to start and how to keep going. Apparently, she herself had the problem of finding out how to go about her learning. That’s how the project came to life.

Natalie explains that with CourseCode, she tries to tackle the issue of why people don’t finish online coding courses. CourseCode aims to help its users finish what they started. At the core are the reviews from peers doing the same thing as you: learning.

With CourseCode, you can save money and time while learning at your own pace anywhere in the world where you can access online tutorial.

I was lucky enough to have Natalie closeby to advise me on where to start. And you can capitalise on this advice along with the advice of other learners just like you. CourseCode is currently in beta. It’s only $10 for a 12 months subscription if you SIGN UP by July 30, 2015. After that, the annual subscription will be $60.
