Coolest My First Tattoo Story Ever
I got my first tattoo when I was 18. It was probably one of the most fun and exciting experiences of my life. I was sitting at home watching TV and my sister comes home from work. She says to me “hey, I’m bored, you wanna go get tattooed together, I’ll pay”, so I say hell yes. We drive down to the local shop and we are deciding what to get. I’m flipping through the flash books and I’m thinking, I want something that is going to represent me. Now, It’s not like we had enough money for a custom piece, and it was our first time, so yes, we did choose something from the book, haha. I chose the Chinese character that represents music because, well, I love music. She chose a 4 leaf clover because of our family heritage. Each tattoo took about 10 minutes to complete. Best 10 minutes of my life. Needless to say that got the ball rolling and I now have a custom sleeve running the length of my left arm and in progress on my right arm. Every tattoo since my first has been a custom piece to me by my artist who I have been going to for the last 8 years. I hear alot of people say that they regret their first tattoo or they get a cover up done because they were young and careless when they chose it. I am happy to say, I will always love this tattoo and when I look at it, it always brings a huge smile to my face and good memories to my mind. Oh, and to all the people who say, “don’t you know that’s going to look like crap when you’re 70 years old”, well, I’m pretty sure my whole body is going to look like wrinkly crap when I’m that age, so choke on that.lol… Thanks sis for sharing this experience with me.
