The things that are humorous and make us laugh are the unexpected – it’s a blessing life is filled with so many unexpected things.
Kenneth Bird said this about humor – “Humor is falling down the stairs if you do it in the act of telling your wife not to.”

Friday funny:
There was a bit of confusion at the store this morning.
A senior man was ready to pay for his groceries in the line right in front of me, the cashier said, “Strip down, facing me.” He seemed confused and muttered something about complaining to his congressman about Homeland Security running amok. Then he did just as she had instructed.
When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, he seemed surprised when he found out that she was referring to his credit card.
He’s been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.
They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!
