MY SPA LIFE!
I was greeted by Mr. Shekhar Pathak, the manager of the spa who helped me with the details of the spa, the services offered and also introduced me to the masseuse who shall be handling my session.
After sipping some detoxifying ginger-lime-honey tea and changing to comfortable spa slippers, we moved on to a tour of the spa.
It is one of the best luxury spa in the country and the whole ambience calms one down with its immaculate attention to detail and simple yet soothing decor.
I already felt relaxed before being taken to the massage room.
THE SPA CORRIDOR

I chose the "Relaxing Aromachologie Massage" - simply because that is what I needed! Mr. Shekhar helped me a lot in understanding what techniques go into each massage they offer and how each would be helpful to me.
Once in the massage room, the masseuse helped me with the spa robe and disposable innerwears. Each room in the spa has a huge closet to hang your clothes and place your valuables safely while you are living your "spa life".
We started off with a feet cleansing and calming ritual with bath salts and lavender foaming liquid in an urli. The masseuse softly massaged and cleaned my feet before I could get on the massage table.
FEET CLEANSING AREA
She spritzed some calming mist on to the head rest of the massage table and once I was on it facing down, she had me inhale a relaxing and calming aroma oil blend that she had rubbed on her hands.

LAVENDER FOAMING BATH - RELAXING PILLOW MIST - REVITALIZING ESSENTIAL OIL COCKTAIL BLEND
There I started getting into the snooze mode!
The masseuse started off with back massage followed by legs and arms. I was asked to face the ceiling and then we continued with the massage for the legs, tummy, arms, decolletage, neck and back.
In the end, she had my back wrapped in a hot towel with some light pressing actions that totally perked me up!
She maintained medium pressure throughout the massage session and ensured if its fine with me initially only. She continued with the same pressure throughout that I drifted into sleep!
This leg massage was the best I have ever had!
The very simple things that the masseuse took care of, like, asking if the music volume in the room is fine with me, moving around the table during massage without a speck of noise, etc. - completely impressed me!
The soothing background music was an added bonus!
The entire massage session took about an hour.
The massage was followed by a toxin-flushing steam bath and shower..Tada! I am totally relaxed and all guns to take on the rest of the day!
