Colores De Carol - Swatches & Review

By Marijonails @marijonails
Hi everyone!!
I'm so excited to share about these polishes I'm sharing.  Carolina, the writer of the blog Colores de Carol, has started her own polish line!  I'm  so excited for her and they're really pretty.
First up is Wet Paint.

Colores de Carol - Swatches & Review

Artificial Light

Wet Paint is a clear base with white, blue, and pink medium square glitter, small black glitter, and pink and blue microglitter. The base is a bit thick, but it is manageable. I did have to fish for the larger pieces of glitter at times.  Here I layered one coat of Wet Paint over Essence Break Through with no base or top coat.

I decided to add another coat of Wet Paint to see what it would look like.

I think this is such a fun glitter.  It really does look like splashes of color on the nails.  I'm loving the label also, it's really fun!
Next is It's Raining Hearts.

Artificial Light

It's Raining Hearts is a clear base with white, pink and red medium heart glitter, small red hex glitter, and red microglitter. The hearts tend to settle so I had to shake the bottle really well. There is good coverage with one coat, but I used two. The base was also a bit thick with this one, but manageable.  Here I layered it over Sally Hansen Fuschia Power with no top coat.

This glitter is so pretty!!  I love the mixture of the large hearts and the microglitter.  It's perfect for Valentine's day!
Finally, I Smell Spring.

Artificial Light

I Smell Spring is a yellowish nude jelly base with fuschia, orange, green, blue, red, and yellow small hexagon glitter.  It reminds me of all the beautiful flowers you see in spring.  The formula was a bit thick, so thin coats are needed when applying.  There is definitely great glitter coverage with each coat.  Here I used Orly Nail Defense as a base, two coats  of I Smell Spring, and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

When Carolina first shared a swatch of this polish, I was nervous about how it would look with my skin tone, but I was pleasantly surprised.  This is super pretty and it makes me long for the days of spring.  Anyone else over this winter weather?
I'm in love with Carolina's polishes so far and I'm looking forward to what else she has in store for us.  She's already working on her second collection ;0).
There are a few more polishes in Carolina's first collection and the can all be found here.  Full size bottles are $9.  She also has a sale going on this weekend that ends tonight.  There is free shipping when you order two or more polishes from her first collection.  Just use the code WEEKEND.  Grab them now while you can!
**Polishes sent for honest review**
