Quality: The quality of the brush is however a disaster. The bristles of the brush were scratchy when new, I thought of using it that ways because somewhere in my mind I thought maybe after washing it might become softer but my expectations failed when after cleaning it for 3-4 times the result was same SCRATCHY. The brush does not shed after washing just 3-4 bristles here and there. The shape of the brush is slanted which is well enough to fit in the hollows of your cheeks. The brush is denser and picks the right amount of color for contouring. I prefer my contour brush to be slightly thinner like my Vega Contour brush as it becomes easy to contour nose, temples and brow bone. Availability: the brushes are available Online as well as in Colorbar stores.

Vega Contouring Brush review

Pros: Cute Packaging with attractive magenta bristles Fairly slanted shaped to fit the hollow of cheeks Picks up right amount of color Blends well as it is fluffy Dries quickly Magenta color doesn’t stain Does not shed after wash Available everywhere Cons: Bristles are scratchy Has no label Highly priced The brush could be thinner for comfortable application on nose, brow bone and temples Final Verdict: the effort that Colorbar has taken to make the packaging attractive, wish the same has been done to the texture of the brush. The slanted shape is perfect for picking the right amount of brush and blends the color perfectly well, but as the bristles are scratchy on skin, I avoid using this. The brush carries no label and hence confused with Powder brush. The best part is the magenta bristles do not stain. I prefer buying Vega Contour brush which is pretty much lesser in price, slimmer in look and best in quality. Rating: 3/5
