Cocktail Dresses 2014

Its the season of opening new doors of opportunity as the students march their ways unto the stage and receive their perspective awards. I cans still remember my graduation moments. Those many times when I wished I was smarter enough to get an award for my family to be proud of. I've studied hard, my grades are good but not better than the others. But you know what, we all have our perfect timings and maybe those times weren't mine. Till I graduated college, which I am proud to say that I was a Cum Laude. God really knows when perfect timing comes and he always has bigger plans for us. Amen!
And in this season, there's nothing more to prepare other than the graduation ceremony itself but also our graduation dresses. Its almost unseen honestly since we wear togas throughout the ceremony but our dress makes everything quite complete.  As what others say, our dress or what we wear represents ourselves. Anyways, a perfect moment like our most awaited graduation just deserves the perfect dress! Here are some of my favorite cocktail dresses perfect for this season's event!
Lace has always been an iconic detail to every garments. It such an elegant look which I think will be a forever trend. This dress' lace detail on a sheer cloth with a peek-a-boo at the back makes everything sexy yet sophisticated. 
 "You can never go overdressed or undressed with a little black dress." Black is always elegant. Its timeless, it will never fade. This dress from afar looks quite simple but if you'll look through the sheers and flowy detail, then you'll realize that this is such an amazing piece. Sexy yet subtle.
If you're girly but not into over detailed pieces, then this dress might just be perfect for you. The color itself plus the cut and style gives that feminine touch that every girl could be fantasizing of. Its simple,cute and classy!

Tips: 1. On choosing a cocktail dress, make sure to wear something unseen. I don't mean naked by the way. It should be at least knee length and should not be longer than your toga. 2. Its a school activity so make sure to bear the right amount of skin. Don't be too sexy, be classy. 3. Wear something you are comfortable with. Its a ceremony which means its crowded and the AC (if you have) may not be able to hold the temperature so make sure to wear something not too hot to add the toga's humidity! 4. Just be yourself, walk confidently and flaunt your dress with style :)
