Cloud Nine ‘The Wand’ & Dressing Brush – Review

When it comes to beauty, there are some products that are worth investing in and today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on two of those – The Cloud Nine ‘The Wand’ & Dressing Brush.

Designed with a conical shape, the wand is suitable for all hair types and has to be one of the most versatile on the market as you can really customise the look you’re going for! Wrapping the hair around the wider part of the ceramic barrel will produce a looser curl whilst wrapping the hair around the whole length will produce a more traditional curl.

The image below shows you just how many different looks you can achieve with this wand and many more looks are possible if you brush the curls out further. I found that the curls/loose waves lasted very well on my hair, with the style lasting even a day or two after curling!

The Wand features an easy to use 3 level temperature setting and even on the highest setting, the wand didn’t damage, dry out or cause my hair to frizz at all. Once curled, my hair was left looking sleek and healthy, a much more professional look that I haven’t been able to achieve before. The temperatures are easy to switch between so you’re also able to customise the tightness and finish of the curl through this element.

Heating up quickly, the wand features a long swivel cord which allows for quick and easy use. An aspect I really love about this product is the heat resistant cap you can slip onto the barrel after use and this will allow it to cool down safely wherever it is placed, reducing the risk of accidental burns on yourself or the floor. A hibernation feature also begins to cool down the barrel after 30 mins of non-use.

The Dressing Brush is a stunning hand made in Italy paddle brush comprised of natural rubber and boar bristles that gently polish each hair shaft.

The bristles are densely packed in clusters and the brush is perfect to use when brushing out curls as it’ll soften the curls without causing any frizz, instead leaving the hair smooth and silky, just as if you’d walked out of a salon! But of course, you could use this brush everyday to add a sleek smooth finish to your hair.
