Sometime last year, I attended Clinique’s event and was delighted to receive Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle correcting eye cream in the goodie bag. We are not obliged to blog about it but since I’ve been using this as my primary eyecream, I thought I would like to give my review on this eyecream.
I started using this last November, and it has been roughly half a year of usage! As usual, Clinique’s products are allergy tested and 100% fragrance free. And I wonder why doesn’t their product smells bad when there’s no fragrance.
The texture of the cream is quite rich. At first I was afraid that this eyecream would give me milla seeds but nope, this eyecream did not give me any milla seeds. Due to its creamy texture, I usually just use a tiny of the eyecream. Half a year later, I’m still left with so much of the cream!
From their website: Smile. Now eyes get a second chance to look young. See your entire eye area visibly improved starting in 4 weeks. Then, we went beyond our usual clinical testing and invented a unique test to prove ‘smile lines’ around eyes disappear by 54% in 12 weeks.
Here’s a before and after picture of my eyes. As you can see, I have little fine lines below my eyes since young due to constant rubbing.
This eyecream proves to hydrate my eye area and the area is softer and smoother to touch. It also helps to de-puff my eyes. If you are looking to diminish dark circles, I’m sorry, this won’t fit the bill. It does not remove any dark circles. As for wrinkles and fine lines, I do notice a very subtle improvement from the picture above. The fine lines are shorter than before but it did not completely remove them. I would not be able to tell the improvement without any pictures taken. And this result is coming from half a year of usage? Seriously, I expected more.
Overall, I am not impressed with this product and will not buy it again once I’m done with this.
